This week, Ottawa is rolling out new rules to its emergency rent subsidy program, to help industries endure the second wave. David Akin reports.And even though we are warned against non-essential travel during the pandemic, Hawaii is willing to form a travel bubble with Canada. The plan is to use a pre-travel testing program, allowing Canadians to vacation there without a 14-day quarantine. Mike Le Couteur explains how it works.In the U.S., protesters in several states took to the streets to oppose new government crackdowns on mask wearing and public gatherings. But as Jennifer Johnson reports, officials are desperately trying to keep people home as COVID-19 pushes hospitals and health-care workers to the edge.Plus, ski resorts are experiencing a much busier start to the season, a result of a pent up demand from people looking for more outdoor options during the COVID-19 pandemic.
